Starlink 5th Launch (updated February 17th)
The fifth launch of Starlink satellites was successful, and we have improved our predictions page and 3D orbit display so you can select any launch. In particular, you can now identify a particular object simply by moving the mouse over it.

Iridium flares have ended :(
As many of our visitors are already aware, all the first generation of Iridium satellites are now either de-orbited, or no longer controlled. Unfortunately, this means that predictable Iridium flares are now a thing of the past. Hopefully, the Starlink launches with their "string of pearls" satellite trains will offer us some compensation. For more information visit the #flarewell web page set up by the company which operated the satellites.
